• Year of enrolment – a program of activities to celebrate the centenary of compulsory enrolment and the fiftieth anniversary of the right of Indigenous Australians to vote.
• Count Me In – a campaign to remind people to enrol to vote or update their enrolment details.
• Online enrolment service – improved service for enrolling or updating enrolment online.
• Online postal vote applications – a new online system to apply for a postal vote.
• Blind and low vision voting solution – an improved voting solution for Australians who are blind or have low vision.
• Direct enrolment and update – a new system for simpler enrolment.
• Louder than one voice – a video and calendar to promote enrolment to Indigenous Australians.
• National Indigenous Youth Parliament – a program to promote electoral participation and develop young Indigenous leaders.
• Australian Taxation Office and Australia Post online services – ongoing collaboration to meet public demand for online services.
• Get Voting – a new program to engage school students in the electoral process.
• Western Australian Civics and Citizenship Competition – to engage secondary school students on the issue of electoral participation.
• Larger work units – co-locating divisional offices into larger single sites to provide more effective and efficient services for the public and career opportunities for staff.
• Rising to Management – a development program for APS 1–5 staff.
• Reconciliation Action Plan – a plan to deliver services that meet the needs of Indigenous Australians.
• New employment terms for irregular and intermittent staff – provides coverage under the AEC Enterprise Agreement 2011–14.
